About Vallum

A farm community of artisan producers, Tea Room & Ice Cream Parlour, Restaurant & Chef’s Room, and Patisserie & Delicatessen at the eastern gateway to Hadrian’s Wall

Vallum is a community of food producers who have gathered together on our family farm out of their shared ethos and commitment to traditional, local produce.

Since we opened our Tea Room & Ice Cream Parlour in 2005, the farm community has expanded with the wonderful Vallum Kitchen Garden – which supplies herbs and vegetables to our own kitchens here on the farm, to Vallum Bakery and Vallum Little Dairy.

We share a passion for the best in local produce grown here, made here, raised here, and our visitors tell us they love our shared ethos, our wonderful food, and our magical setting in the heart of Hadrian’s Wall country.

We look forward to welcoming you to enjoy our wildlife walks, our Tea Room & Ice Cream Parlour with its south-facing deck and outdoor play paddock, our Restaurant & Chef’s Room, our Patisserie & Deli, our regular events, and the many sights and sounds of this amazing place.
